Malleefowl are notoriously difficult to locate. Nesting in remote regions beneath low scrub and dense vegetation, traditional ground surveys often miss their mounds — costing time, resources, and funding.

That’s why Anditi developed a patented, remote sensing method to detect mound-like structures using aerial LiDAR and our proprietary near-ground feature detection algorithms. From the Great Victoria Desert to the Murray Sunset and beyond, we’ve surveyed over 10,000 km² of critical habitat — helping recovery teams and land managers find active mounds faster, safer, and far more efficiently.
